\n Good Morning from Tokyo! \u2600\ufe0f\n\n We started our second day in Japan with a quick breakfast from 7-Eleven (cheap and reliable \ud83d\udcaf). While Sudeshna packed up the bags, we checked out of our first hotel and crossed the road to another stay \u2014 Asakusa Hatago Hotel. This place had a proper Japanese touch with tatami flooring and futon-style bedding. Super cozy!\n <\/p>\n\n \n

\ud83d\ude86 Navigating Japan Transit<\/h2>\n

Japan\u2019s trains are a wonder \u2014 punctual to the second \u23f1\ufe0f. We hopped on the metro, taking the last car for easier exits. Even during rush hours, the trains were clean, organized, and somehow peaceful.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\udfef Exploring Tokyo Imperial Palace<\/h2>\n

We walked across thousands of stairs to reach the Imperial Palace. The gardens are free to enter, and though you can\u2019t visit the Emperor\u2019s residence itself, the massive walls, Nijubashi Bridge, and stunning skyline views were worth the effort. The mix of greenery, traditional Japanese structures, and the modern city around is breathtaking. \ud83c\udf3f\ud83c\udfd9\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\udf63 Conveyor Belt Sushi Lunch<\/h2>\n

Finally, the food highlight of the day \u2014 Sushi Train! \ud83c\udf63\n Plates zoomed in on a belt, and every order arrived lightning fast on a second-level track. Fresh, tasty, and surprisingly affordable \u2014 we devoured as many as we could! Plus, you even make your own green tea at the table.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83d\uddfc Tokyo Tower & Zojo-ji Temple<\/h2>\n

Next stop: Tokyo Tower, Japan\u2019s answer to the Eiffel Tower. At 333m, it slightly edges out its Parisian inspiration. What we didn\u2019t expect was stumbling upon Zojo-ji Temple nearby, filled with rows of children\u2019s guardian statues wearing red caps. It felt peaceful and deeply cultural \u2014 a hidden gem.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\udf03 Shinjuku Nightlife<\/h2>\n

Our evening wrapped up in Shinjuku, buzzing with neon lights, karaoke bars, pachinko parlors, and endless restaurants. The vibe here is straight out of a movie. We grabbed a quick bite at McDonald\u2019s (yes, they have unique menu items \ud83c\udf54) before heading back to Asakusa for a more budget-friendly stay.<\/p>\n\n \n
