Who Are We?

About Us

Welcome to Follow the Imprints! Travel with us to learn and unlearn!

Weโ€™re Sudeshna and Ranjit, an Indian born Canadian couple, with a shared passion for traveling the world, discovering new cultures, and creating unforgettable memories. What started as a dream to explore beyond the ordinary has grown into a journey of storytelling and inspiration.

With a passion for uncovering hidden gems, vibrant cultures, and unique experiences, we document our journey to inspire fellow adventurers.

Through our travels, we aim to connect with people, whether itโ€™s exploring iconic landmarks, uncovering hidden gems, or diving into local cuisine, weโ€™re here to bring you authentic experiences and practical budget tips to fuel your wanderlust.

Currently we are travelling around the world full-time on a budget of $100/day for two!

The travel bug bit us the day when we received our passports in hand (in 2016) & booked an instant trip to Thailand on that very day!

From that journey onwards we knew that travelling is something we both need in our life to be in content & it continues from 1 to 51 countries since..ย ๐Ÿ˜Š

Little More About Our Background

Sudeshna has worked as a Human Resources professional for over 13 years and love to edit, take pictures, try out local cuisine and pet every possible animals around the world!

Ranjit was a Software Developer for more than 14 years and is a spreadsheet guy! He love numbers, planning to the T, take videos and has a gift of mingling with anyone and everyone at any given possible time!

We both come from middle-class families in Kolkata, India. To cover our own tuition fees and education we both started working on several part-time jobs since our high school days.

We met each other in Kolkata while working in a MNC back in 2011. After few years of dating, we both moved to Bangalore and worked and completed our Masters. Then, got married in 2017 in an unconventional way as we both have a spirit of questioning societal norms and breaking stereotypes to redefine what it means to live life on our own terms.
In 2020, wearing PPE kits in the middle of the pandemic we moved to Toronto, Canada and worked on getting our Canadian citizenships eventually.
Mid 2024, we took that much awaited leap and left our jobs, sold and donated our belongings, packed our lives in two medium sized suitcases to travel the world full-time for at least an year (or until money runs out).

We upload detail travel vlogs on YouTube sharing itineraries, what to do, places to see, visa requirements, basically A-Z of travelling in a new place – Subscribe to be a part of and support our journey and help us to share more information on the road!
